Altar servers assist the priest at Mass. Young people from Grade 5 through adults are welcome to serve; men and women are equally eligible to serve. If you or your child is interested in being trained as an altar server, please contact Christi Nyquist.

Established in 1881 to encourage devotion to the Blessed Mother, today’s St. Paul Altar Society also provides service to many areas of parish life and the community.

The St. Paul Choir sings for the 10:00 a.m. liturgy every Sunday.  Rehearsals are at 9:30 a.m. in the church choir loft.  All are welcome.  

The St. Paul Voices of Joy sings for the 12 noon liturgy every Sunday.  Rehearsals are at 11:30 a.m. in the church choir loft.  All are welcome.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)

An Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist assists the priest in distributing the Holy Eucharist at Mass, as well as to the sick and homebound. If you would like to serve as an EMHC, please contact Susan Bristol.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God (first and/or second Scripture reading) at Sunday and weekday Masses. If you are interested in becoming a lector, please contact Jeffrey Moyer for more information.

Sacristans care for the sacred vessels (e.g., chalice, ciborium, purificator, veils) used at Mass. If you would like to serve as a sacristan, please contact Carmen Dusina.

Ushers greet people, assist with seating, take up collections, and generally help wherever needed during Masses. Those interested in becoming an ushers should contact Jim Bartoletti at [email protected].

The volunteer wedding coordinators ensure that your rehearsal and wedding day proceeds smoothly and gracefully. She will conduct the wedding rehearsal and coordinate the church activities on your wedding day, including those of the florist, photographer, videographer, etc. If you are interested in becoming a rehearsal/wedding coordinator please contact the parish office at [email protected].
