Mission Statement
St. Paul on the Lake is a vibrant Catholic church with a strong
foundation rooted in history, tradition and faith. Guided by Christ’s
love, Sacred Scripture and the Sacraments, we seek to provide an
environment for worship and spiritual growth. Through our stewardship
and the promotion of our Catholic beliefs, we will reach out as Christ’s
disciples in service to others.

Friend in Christ,
Welcome to the St. Paul on the Lake parish family. You are now part of a
dynamic, faith-filled community which God has blessed in countless ways
for nearly two centuries.
Our prayerful worship is our highest priority. Generations before us
made great sacrifices so that we might continue to praise God in our
beautiful church. In our celebration of the sacraments, especially the
Eucharist, we thank God for His great goodness to us and all His people.
We likewise want to do all we can to pass on our faith in Jesus Christ
to the next generation. Our Blue Ribbon Catholic School and excellent
after-school religious formation program do just that.
Our patron, St. Paul, speaks eloquently about the variety of gifts God
has bestowed on the members of His Body, the Church. We look forward to
having you share your time and talent with our community. We know that
in giving to the Body of Christ, we give back to God some of what He has
so generously bestowed on us.
However I can personally be of service, please do not hesitate to ask.
Be assured of my prayers, and please pray that we will be the community
God calls us to be.
